At St. Luke's, as Episcopalians, we believe in a loving, liberating, and life giving God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We strive to live by the message of Christ, in which there are no outcasts, and all are welcome. Walking a middle way between Catholic and Protestant traditions, we are a sacramental and service-oriented church. We believe in thoughtful engagement with Scripture and tradition, and we strive to become the transformed people God calls us to be.
When you visit St. Luke's for Sunday worship, you will find it:
Sacramental - almost always celebrating the Eucharist, also known as Holy Communion, the Lord's Supper, or the Mass;
Reverant - treating our worship as the vital act of experiencing God's love for us;
Biblical - reading extensive selection from Scripture each Sunday;
Thoughtful - unpacking those Scriptures with an engaging sermon that
welcomes and evokes deep question and applies them to real life;
Joy-Filled - finding deep fullfilment in communion with Christ and one another.
