Chickasha Soup Kitchen
St. Luke's prepares and serves at the local soup kitchen on the third Thursday of each month. We feed approximately 200 each time.
Chickasha Emergency Food Pantry
The last Sunday of each month is
dedicated to the local food pantry. St. Luke's members donate food and
toiletry items to help the needy in our town. We also give a quarterly offering to the pantry.
Summer Water Ministry
From June through September, we have
a cooler with bottled water set out on our church steps to provide a
cool drink for those in need. We give out around 2000 bottles each summer.
Christmas Angel Tree
St. Luke's provides 4-6 children with goodies for Christmas. We partner with the Salvation Army for this ministry.
Christmas at Sea
Our member Helen "Buddy" Blevins
knits caps for The Seaman's Institue throughout the year. In 2022, Buddy
knitted over 170 caps that were sent for the seaman's Christmas sacks.
